july ins and outs
Hello.
as june runs into warm july i think of little else but you
we’ve reached peak summer and i hope you’ve found time to engage in warm weather seasonal activities. don’t let summer slip away like it does every year. let july be july
at the very least, get yourself to the farmers market, pick up some seasonal produce - tomatoes, apricots, peaches, plums, figs, zucchini, etc, and make something nourishing and delicious for yourself.
today, i’m sharing some july ins and outs. maybe it will spark some inspiration for you to do something fun and festive.
but first, as we enter into q3, i wanted to share an announcement regarding my substack and how things will be moving forward…
i love writing to you (almost) everyday. i love sharing recommendations to make you feel more comforted and less alone. i enjoy sharing snippets of my story. i love sharing ways to live life seasonally and with intention. i put so much love and time into these letters to you and in order for me to continue writing, i’ve made the decision to paywall my content. essentially, a latte a month for me to be able to provide you with the content you love. i’ll be sharing previews of each post moving forward so you’ll have an idea of what to expect in each letter. i want you to know i’m constantly brainstorming ways to make this newsletter as valuable as possible for you and i’m excited to have the ability to create new ways to keep you entertained each morning before you start your day. i appreciate and love every single one of you for being here. thank you for supporting my little corner on the internet.
July Ins:
-camp snoopy: a new show just released on appletv and you should watch it
-snoopy jazz: tender cool instrumental jazz in a snoopy-esque sort of way
-balmy nights: a little sticky, warm, dewy, hot
-pen and paper journaling: messy writing for your eyes only, doodles everywhere, nonsense, hysterical, you know the drill.
-plotting a great escape out of this country for cottage living in the english countryside
