hello.
are you dreaming of autumn, too?
today, i’m sharing my short and sweet september wishlist with you. this letter is to be enjoyed while sipping on a warm seasonal beverage- something like a chai tea latte, or a maple latte, maybe a salted caramel drink or a hot cocoa with marshmallows. perhaps a warm apple cider is something you prefer? get cozy, put on some jazz music in the background and eat a little festive treat.
i know, i know… i recently wrote about avoiding over consumption. but this is a post for those of us who love to window shop and fill our digital shopping carts with things we can’t afford and/or will never buy. also, autumn is here, and my september comfort activity is browsing the internet for fall things.
let’s begin.
september wishlist:
-hansel and basel socks: anything with baby bunnies and i’m sold.
-speaking of bunnies… this signet ring with a sleeping rabbit by alex monroe: i’m obsessed.
-fragrance wishlist (i have not smelled these two but i’ve been curious): coven by andrea mack (notes: galbanum, oakmoss, clove, cedar, vanilla) and humitsu by regime des fleurs (notes: voilet, suede, lily of the valley, balsam, saffron)
-byredo chai candle (notes: ginger, clove, cardamom, violet, warm latte, guaiac wood, birch tree) and altar candle (notes: clove, ylang ylang, papyrus, vetiver)
i’ve smelled both of these and love them.
-peanuts f/w collab with uniqulo: i love this snoopy sweater and the linus sweater the most.
-miffy f/w collab with uniqlo: this shirt and this shirt are my favorite.
-sleepytime bear tea mug: drowsy ceramic creates the most stunning mugs. i highly recommend checking out all of her creations. i think this one is sold out, but i found this vintage one and this one on etsy that’s also v cute.
-studio rua jewelry: i’m particularly fond of the little silver moon necklack.
-parachute linen espresso brown bedding: this color is so stunning and cozy- perfect for fall and winter months.
-if you’re looking for candles and/or fragrances for fall, check out my autumn master list. there’s lots of goodies in there to look through.
-i need these loafers biblically.
-all of the fun halloween snacks at target: to pack in mine and my daughter’s lunches for school. opening up your lunch to find a fall or halloween themed treat in your lunch bag sparks immense joy- the perfect mid afternoon pick me up.
-mini ghost waffle maker: this is the cutest thing
-cozy autumnal nintendo switch games: i’m not a gamer, but there is something so relaxing about a cozy game to play at the end of a long day. (better than doom scrolling, trust me) on my wishlist: cozy grove, disney dreamlight valley, hogwarts legacy, no ni kuni (a witchy game partnered with ghibli- say no more). also, if you’re not wanting to splurge on a switch, consider the nintendo switch lite.
-apple watch series 10: i’m not an apple watch wearer, but for my new job and for school, this will be a life saver so i’m saving for this one.
-ina garten’s memoir: this comes out october 1st and it’s arguably one of the books i’m most excited about in 2024.
okay, that’s all for today. i’m finally starting to recover from being sick all week. i have exams on monday, so this weekend will be filled with studying.
enjoy your weekend.
oh, some posts to look forward to… i’m writing a kitchen witch type of post with autumnal recipes and cozy kitchen things, there’s a witchy master list post i’m working on, a few think-piece essays, halloween costume ideas, the halloween master list, and lots more <3
if you’re not ready to become a paid subscriber and you have the capacity to leave a tip, that would be so appreciated.
