tiktok videos for introverts, new favorite fragrance, and today's articles
Hello.
So I’ve been wanting to make tiktok videos where I actually talk and show my face and make videos instead of photos and be more engaged with the community but I’m scared. I’m not good with speaking, that’s why I write. But I do want to talk in more depth about the things I love: internet culture, books, beauty, fragrance, etc. And I know I could provide more value just by showing up and shooting the shit with everyone. I just have an overwhelming fear of public speaking which is exactly why I should challenge myself and do it anyway. Right?…
Someone give me some courage here.
On a someone related note- Instagram is dead and I think it has been for quite awhile. This is not new news, just something that has been stewing around in my brain recently, mostly because I’m trying to be cognizant of things that are occupying my time and not reciprocating what I need in return.
On an unrelated note- I discovered a fragrance yesterday that I have been sleeping on. Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules. I’ve raved about Molecule + Iris on several newsletter, but I never bothered to try the OG Molecule. This perfume has landed a spot in my top three favorite fragrances of all time. I was hesitant to try it because a lot of people are anosmic to Iso E Super on their on skin. It’s a fragrance that you can’t really smell on yourself but other around you can smell it and it smells different on everyone depending on their skin chemistry. It basically enhances the wearer’s natural scent- a pheromone aura unique to you. This is the original ‘your skin but better’ fragrance.
I sprayed on my wrist for the first time at Scent Bar NYC after they recommended it to me and I stepped outside to see if I could smell anything and let me tell you… the visceral reaction I had to this smell! It was the most sensual decadent addicting cedar-sandalwood-musk-amber type of aroma I’ve ever smelled. I bought it immediately. Yesterday afternoon, I was stopped 4 times by people who asked me what I was wearing. I haven’t had this type of reaction to a fragrance since I tried Portrait Of A Lady for the first time.
I’m going to stop raving about this now, but I highly recommend if you’re looking for a fragrance that you can wear all year round- something truly special and unique and unapologetically you.
This is a travel size if you want to try.
Okay, I’m going to share some interesting articles with you and then you can be on your merry way.
