hello.

welcome to our first ask me anything letter. i wrote in a previous post that every week i want to provide paid subscribers with a more intimate treat to enjoy with pancakes and coffee every sunday morning. i’m going to share my insights on questions i received from you throughout the week. the sky is the limit- these questions can be about me or about you, about life or the seasons or hyper specific recommendations for gifts, books, films, etc. my inbox is always open.

with that said, lets get into our first question…

ask me anything

  • what inspired you to start your substack, and how has the journey been so far?

Emily Sundberg
inspired me to start my substack. her daily newsletter was so enjoyable to read each morning and i found immense joy and comfort replacing my daily doom scroll through social media with something that actually provided value. i’ve always enjoyed writing and platforms like instagram and tiktok felt limiting on my ability to write the long form content i craved. as i explored the platform, i realized how wholesome and positive this space is compared to other platforms. it really felt like how blogging on the internet used to be circa carrie bradshaw. now we can all be main characters. if you’re hesitant about starting a substack, this is me giving you a nudge of encouragement. it’s not about how many subscribers or likes or comments you get on a post, it’s truly about creating the content and art you love and staying genuine to your story. whatever that is, people will gravitate toward that and the subscribes and likes will come in due time.

  • can you share a childhood memory that still brings you comfort and joy today?
