prime day <3

hello.

a very short post for today’s letter ~ prime day is tomorrow, so i wanted to share some of my favorite amazon items as well as some things on my wishlist. i’ve been waiting impatiently for them to go on sale so i can’t manipulate myself into justifying the purchase.

kindle paperwhite: i’ve ranted about this enough times in previous newsletters so i won’t bore you with my thoughts. i have the kindle oasis currently, and i’m ready for an upgrade. in the past i would never be caught dead with a kindle because of my ego and i hated the idea of more technology in my hands instead of something as pure and wholesome and beautiful as a book. but i will say, for those of you who are trying to read more, the convenience and ease of a kindle is how i’m able to read so much. it’s also helpful when you’re reading large books that you don’t want to carry around in your tote bag.

nintendo switch oled: my preferred method of relaxation is usually reading or watching a film. and i’m not a gamer girl, but i do enjoy animal crossings and other cozy relaxing games if i’m feeling anxious and i need to do some active decompressing to distract my brain. it’s also a really fun way to play games and spend quality time with my daughter and friends who come over. mario cart 8 is always a hit. i’ve been wanting to get hogwarts legacy and disney dreamlight valley.

sony headphones: i have the airpod max headphone and they give me the worst headaches, probably because i wear glasses. they’re cute and aesthetic, but they’re overpriced and inflict pain. i’ve spent too much time at best buy trying on headphones and making sure they’re comfortable and have a good sound. the sony’s are by far my favorite. they have the newer M5 and the older version, M4, and both are great.

this candle warmer: i’ve also raved about this in previous letters. it’s one of my favorite amazon purchases of all time. and for anxious girlies like me who have an irrational fear of leaving their curling irons plugged in and/or forgetting to blow out your candles before leaving the house, this is a great purchase for you. the other thing i love about this is that it doesn’t bother my allergies as much since there’s no smoke being emitted. i highly highly recommend.

a human dog bed: hear me out. my dream cozy reading day bed / chair situation is a million dollars from six penny and i can’t afford that right now. (if you know anyone at the six penny hq generous enough to gift one to me, please let me know. my birthday is next month). but, while i impatiently wait for the day i have a million dollars to spend on a chair, i found a couple on amazon that i have my eye on. this one is not giant or aesthetic, but it looks comfy and ergonomically friendly. this one also looks comfy and it got great reviews.

rode microphone: i really really want to start making videos on tiktok where i can rant about books and the things i love. and i’m trying to bite the bullet and just do it, but video content where i’m front facing on camera is so intimidating for me. maybe this expensive microphone that all the other tiktok influencers have will give me an incentive.

nespresso coffee maker: perfect for coffee lovers and it saves time and money if you’re on the go. if you’re into lattes, i love this hand frother- an $8 steal.
