i'm watching coraline again, dad culture, and the sex recession
Hello.
It’s been so moody and rainy here in New York which can only mean one thing: watching coraline again, baking seasonally, and engaging in all the cozy indoor activities. Coraline is appropriate for every season. You can’t fight me on this.
I’ve been having a lot of fun making this spring bucket list, but I lied to you because I said I would have it this week and I haven’t had the time to finish writing it so I’m sorry. But… it will be delivered to your inbox soon.
Some random things that have brought me joy recently:
-the easter section at target with all of the bunnies and jelly beans
-speaking of jelly beans, will you still read my newsletter if I told you I love black licorice jelly beans?
-museums on rainy days
-baking. food is my first love (as mentioned before). I’ve been baking scones, muffins, carrot cake, and all the spring treats. I’ve also been reading cookbooks for fun
-making hand written grocery lists
-soy milk
-opopanax diptyque candle cold cloudy days
-The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison
Okay, ready for some reading?
