spring wish list and recent media consumption
Hello.
A new season beckons a new wish list.
And today, I’ll be sharing it with you. Do you make wish lists for every season, too?
At the end, I’ll be sharing recent media consumption (things I’m watching, reading, a few articles, things I’m listening to, etc)
Let’s get into it (keep in mind this list consists of- some things reasonable, some things delusional):
spring 2024 wish list:
-Tickets to the Ballet: After doing ballet for 18 years you’d think I would have gone to watch the NYC ballet perform. My favorites are Giselle, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and of course, The Nutcracker.Â
-A Trip to the Farm: to pet baby cows and baby lambs
-New bedding: Garbo and Friends and Piglet in Bed have cute options. Garbo and Friends reminds me of the English countryside and I’ll probably purchase from them. My favorite for spring is their honeysuckle print.
-Regime Des Fleurs Tears Fragrance: There is something solemn about this fragrance. It reminds me of early spring. It’s still too cold to wear a dress, you're longing for warmer days, but you still romanticize the gloom and rain amidst the newly budding flowers outside your window. Notes are: green cognac, pink pepper, mandarin orange flower, lilac, ambergris, musk.Â
-White Rice D’Annam Fragrance: I, too, am enamored by this sought after fragrance in perfumetok land. Notes are: white rice, pandan, orris, jasmine, white musk, cedar wood and tonka bean. The white rice note intrigues me. I love fragrance with grain notes. It feels warm and comforting and nostalgic. (Milk notes, too).Â
-Vietnamese Coffee D’Annam Fragrance: A unique gourmand with notes of coffee bean, dark chocolate, condensed milk, tonka bean, amber and cedar wood.Â
-Tekla Pajamas and Robes and Towels
-New Stationery from NicoNeco
-Iris Candle From Diptyque: This is a quintessential spring scent. Floral, light, delicate.Â
-Salta Candle from Trudon: This is a bright, clean citrus scent that reminds me of the sea side in Greece. (I’ve never been, but I imagine this is what it would smell like). Grapefruit, lemon, hyacinth, verbena.Â
-GH Bass Loafers: A classic penny loafer high on my wishlist.Â
-Medicube Age-R Booster Pro Skincare Device: I’ve admittedly felt influenced by this device from the inundation of before and after videos using this product. Anything for my skin, you see.Â
-Art Cafe Classes at Happy Medium: I’ve been to a few art cafe events and I’d love to go back for painting classes.Â
-Puppy Yoga: There’s a company called Puppysphere here in NYC and they have yoga classes that you do with puppies running around. You can snuggle and cuddle with them mid-downward dog.Â
-Vintage Miu Miu Glasses: I want readers and sunnies.Â
-A Cat: Can you believe I still don’t have a cat? This feels very necessary in my life right now.Â
-Any Ceramic Piece From Thou Art Momo: I recently discovered Maureen McAfee and I feel in love with her work. She creates the most beautiful ceramic pieces for home. She makes jewelry, too.Â
-Vintage Kitchenware: I’m not on the hunt for anything specific, but I love the look of pewter/ metal tableware, especially dessert bowls. Â
