I once got called the ‘floristry tea witch’ when teaching new staff about the teas we sold at the café I worked at. A joy to read and have my tea and perfume obsessions fed.

As a huge tea and perfume enthusiast, this was such a wonderful little article to consume over my morning cuppa (Ku Cha House of Tea’s Lavender Earl Grey) ☺️☕️

The Japanese aesthetic is one of my very top favorites, if not the top. The minute attention to detail and appreciation for small yet meditative things in life is what keeps me going and inspired to slow down and enjoy life. Japanese tea masters just get it. No wonder us westerners are obsessed with eastern aesthetics 😅 we ain't got no chill

This is a tea symphony, for anyone ready to listen carefully to the tea sing. Thank you for this beautiful moment, Caitlyn.

Do you have any recommendations on where to find tea ceramics?

This was a good newsletter, as a tea lover it hit the spot for me, I enjoyed the tea fragrance part and how you broke down each scent, thank you for the Ulysses hook up, I’ll be trying it out for my next long form posts.

When I lived in Northern Ireland, I learned the therapeutic power of someone making you a cup of tea. Just someone doing this simple act of kindness for me automatically felt healing. And the feeling I get from this article is of harnessing that same basic idea, and gifting it to yourself. Beautiful.

Only read the headline so far and yes. (Reading now)

This was an absolute delight to read! A cup of tea holds an immense amount of depth and heritage, it brings us closer to our inner world. When I meet people who didnt grow up with tea culture I'm excited to introduce them to it and witness the joy and warmth it brings them. Sincerely appreciate this exploration of all the senses through tea!

Looove this, I'm a big tea fan. I want to find a new tea perfume as I keep finding too many sweet ones. I got a sample of Kilian Princess and found it was way too sweet and marshmallow-y and not nearly enough tea. And I've also tried an earl grey indie perfume and it was also too sweet.

I really liked the book Steeped by Michelle Francl for a look into the chemistry of tea. Will have to check out some of your recommendations.

Literally sat down with my afternoon cup of tea and this essay popped up - it was too perfect! Loved all the details on how to brew each type. Thank you!
