things i'm loving lately

hello.

my anxiety is working overtime this week as i plow through these interviews. i’m hoping to have some answers by the end of the week so please send all of your positive thoughts, manifestations, fairy dust, magical thinking, and good witchy vibes my way <3 you’ll be proud to know that i’m doing my best to stay cautiously optimistic.

i will be sending out the back to school master list this friday and it will be filled with books, films, tv shows, activities, foods to consume, music playlists, and everything in between for your enjoyment.

also, august is my birthday month, so i have some fun newsletters planned to send your way as we enter into late summer/ pre fall bliss.

for today, i’ve complied a list of things i’ve been loving in my notes app and i want to share it with you.

things i’m loving lately:

-this hand cream: i used to be a whore for skincare and beauty products until i met my dermatologist several years ago and decided to not compulsively buy things i didn’t need. this $11.39 hand cream is better than an sample of a $100 hand cream i’ve ever tried. my hands get extremely dry and look 40 years older than they are if i don’t moisturize them and this product saved them

-niconeco zakkaya: this is one of my favorite stores in nyc, but they also have an online shop. they sell the cutest most unique stationery items (it’s almost back to school season)

-fizcarraldo edition books: building this collection is on my birthday wishlist

-boys club world: if you have any interest in web3 or crypto or being chronically online, you’ll appreciate this

-ginger chews for hot girls with tummy problems: these save my life

-regime des fleurs fragrances: tears is my favorite spring/summer scent and falling trees is my favorite autumn/winter scent (and arguably one of my top 5 favorite fragrances of all time)

-dominique ostuni: i own two of her ceramics and i get so many compliments on them anytime i have friends over. she hand makes each one and they’re all so special

-my bookish existence: i won’t mention kindle on here again because i’ve raved about it too many times, but i will share with you a folder on my amazon storefront with a list of some of my favorite books if you’re looking for your next read. and as much as i appreciate the support if you shop on my storefront, i highly encourage you to shop at your local small bookstores or supporting your local public library <3

-doen henri top: this top has been on my wishlist for a long time. but i also really love it in black, too

-fleabag: for comfort

-snoopy merch: for those who loved my snoopy plate and mug i shared on a previous note, this is the store i got it from. they have tons of snoopy and peanuts stationery

-90s rom coms: also for comfort. it’s almost when harry met sally season

-this wild boar bristle hairbrush: you can personalize it, too

-coveted cult lip balm: another favorite and always gets compliments from friends and it works well

-my victorian ghost nightgown from salter house: i have yet to find a nightgown as perfect as this one

-criterion: i’ve turned into a bit of a film enthusiast. several years ago, i didn’t have any interest in film, but then i discovered criterion, mubi, and filmtok and became quite obsessed. letterboxd
