Perfect. I’ll revisit this post when I’m next trying to figure out what to buy myself. I’ve always wanted to read some of Daphne Du Mauriers’ books.

Loved this list!! Rebecca is in a well-deserved spot at the top. If they've already read it I also recommend Jamaica Inn by du Maurier, it's slightly darker than Rebecca but less spooky (if that makes sense!).

Bravo. You got it right again for me. My father was a teacher, and he never got rid of a book. Yes, some were textbooks given by publishers, but I looked at them. He kept mostly his books. You never knew when they would call you to look again or find something informational. I love this piece—another good one.
