I'm so sorry, pie just doesn't make my heart sing when I could be having a cookie or a brownie instead. I had this one mud pie when I was a kid tho that I still think about to this day.
Love all of this! November has always been one of my favorite months, and I could never really explain why… this year I think I finally understand, and it’s because of things like you mentioned here! Just all the best academic, moody, cozy vibes 🤎
Do you - or anyone else - have any good philosophical literature recommendations? I’ve really been wanting to read more in this genre!
this was perfect and as 11/11 eldest daughter, "if the eldest daughter was a month, she would be november- often forgotten, but left picking up the pieces from halloween and responsible for setting up a solid foundation and plan for the success of christmas and thanksgiving." hit REAL hard
Though part of me always looks forward to November since my birthday falls on this month, a larger part of me always dreads it because of how much shorter the days are. It's always dark out by the time I finish work. But this Substack post made me look forward to the month a bit more :") thank you!!!
as the eldest daughter who is born in november i love this so much
🤎🤎🤎
I agree about Costco pumpkin pie—possibly the BEST pumpkin pie. Hard agree about overconsumption too!
It’s so good!!🥰
Love this list. I actually just got into drinking my coffee black and do enjoy it (I already enjoy iced black coffee).
November is one of my favorite months also and your list is spot on. Happy November!
Yesss black coffee is a vibe and a half <3
Yes yes yes yessssss!!!!! I giggled at “reverse seasonal depression” I feel that.
🤎🍂 you understand me

Happy November!
As long as there’s cookies and sweet treats 🍪
please share your watch later list!! and what do you consider philosophical literature?
Will do! Maybe I’ll write a letter and share my favorite philosophy books
yay! can't wait!
Yes. Yes yes yes. All of it.
ahhh yes, I am November.
I’m all in for cookies and milk before bed🤍
I like most pie fillings, but the crusts are normally too dry and crumbly for my liking.

As an eldest daughter, this fed my soul

This was such a good read. Last week I gave in and purchased the viral Phlur Vanilla Skin spray from TikTok and it doesn’t smell like anything 😭
