I’m a tired pregnant mom and while our worlds could not be more different thank you for letting me rest awhile in yours. Beautiful sensual evocative writing.
I’m incredibly inspired by your content, and began middlemarch a week ago, per your recommendation. I have to admit, I’m having a hard time getting into the book. I love reading classics: Dumas’ The Count of Monte Cristo, Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina and Forster’s A Room With A View to name a few favourites.. just curious to know if anyone else finds this book a tad slow/dry. I’m going to stick it out, but it’s not grabbing me as I’d hoped. 🤎
They’re not easy books. I recommend pairing it with a podcast or another type of guide book that can help you understand the details and nuances that can make it feel overwhelming.🤎
I thank you, for taking the time to respond. I find myself referencing Sparknotes frequently, but a podcast sounds like an excellent alternative. Thank you again, Caitlyn.. wishing you & yours a magnificent Spring. 🥀
this whole writing smells like rain
Best compliment 🤎
These books sound great!! Thanks for the recs
I hope you find one you love!

My childhood was not always sweet. But as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to focus more on the sweeter moments🤎
I love this–so springy and inspiring!! I'm adding "making homemade clotted cream" to my spring bucket list and ordering basil eo for my diffuser... ✨💐

Curious if you read the Lydia Davis translation of Swann’s Way or a different/earlier version? Such a wonderful list! Thank you!
