hello! fabulous list, from what on it I've seen/read. I'm wondering if you or anyone else in the comments has reading recs (or movie recs) about specifically familial, or especially platonic love. I adore valentine's and want to celebrate it in a way that's not too devastating after a recent breakup :,)

I was already so in love with what I read last night and I was tired so I’m really so Excited! This will be my first Baldwin! I was deciding between this or if Beale street could talk but I knew this was my answer, I’ve heard only amazing things.

Yes!!! Yes, yes, yes. Vintage valentines vibes are the best. One of my favorite activities is going to my local thrift shop where they have old cards and picking out my favorite secondhand valentine card with a handwritten letter on it. The best bookmark to use in February (or year round) <3

Another wonderful treasure. Reading this, I thought of those early Valentine's Day events in elementary school and those secret crushes. This seemed the only safe time to send them. It was also sad because there was always that one "Charlie Brown" person in class that everyone avoided. It ends up bittersweet. Thank you for sharing.

I love so many of these books—the lover, Giovanni’s room, call me by your name! Just based off the ones I have read, I’ve now decided I need to make my way through this whole list—thanks!
