Today’s post will be short and sweet- a little weekly report of things I’ve been loving. I think you’ll love them, too. Also, I really enjoy posting little recipes and things I’ve baked up in the kitchen. If you’d like me to share more, please let me know <3

-Intermezzo by Sally Rooney: A beautifully written exploration of modern relationships, filled with Rooney's signature wit and insight.

-Didion and Babitz by Lili Anolik: Two literary icons, capturing their unique voices and the era they defined.

-Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Estes: A powerful read that delves into the wild and instinctual nature of women through myth and story.

-White Nights by Fyoder Dostoevsky: An introspective novella that delves into the complexities of love, loneliness, and dreams.

-The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna: the most comforting book i’ve read this year.

-cinnamon raisin bread with almond butter

-tons of fresh fruits from the farmers market (apricots, peaches, tomatoes, figs, etc)

Obsessing:

-i’m back in my kitchen witch era cooking and baking my heart out when life starts to feel heavy. i love finding recipes in old vintage cookbooks or referencing the cookbook my grandmother wrote.

Recommending:

-finding a tv show or book or podcast series that you can obsess over and look forward to anytime you start to feel anxious and need a source of relief. (i mentioned some recs on this post)

-making pinterest board instead of scrolling through social media

newborn board and adding more to her this weekend

Treating:

-going to the animal shelter and spending time cuddling puppies and kitties (i think it’s time)

-new stationery from niconeco. they also sell amazing candles. this one is my favorite.

-new merch from the paris review. i got the duck umbrella, the prose socks, the poetry socks, and the hat and tote pictured below.
